My daughter, Nelmarie Swanepoel, solved the problem of the book cover. When I raised the question, she immediately said she knew what the cover should look like and came up with the sketch. I thought it was extraordinary as it captured the essence of my religious journey and confirmed the title. The Christian cross is disintegrating, splintering off, and completing the religious circle by flowing into the atheist symbol with the rising sun witnessing and approving the process. Sally Rumball made a painting of the sketch, which Adam Rumball of Sharkbuoys Designs turned into an exceptional book cover.
